First Pair of Golashes

I got my first pair of golashes a few weeks ago. They're really a neccesity for living in the city with no car when it rains...especially when it's raining during Georgie's walk time! I've had several opportunities to wear them in the last few weeks including today. With my black golashes and tan rain coat, I'm color coordinated with Georgie's fur!

Latest Shoe Cravings

These are really classic and cute. I think I would prefer them without the quilting, though.

These are definately not flats, but I came across them while I was looking. I'm usually not one to wear high heels, but these are HOT! I can totally see myself wearing these!

Packing shoes

The other night I was packing up my bedroom closet, separating clothes that are going into storage and clothes that I'm taking to New York. My shoes were not so easy to separate because I want to take them all! I laid them all out on the bed before I decided which ones to take and which ones to leave and thought it would make a cool picture.

Window shopping

Here are a few items that John thought I would like...he was right! I love this jellybean bag from the MoMA store. And I like these skirts and tank tops...I think this is Old Navy, but I'm not sure. I love the colors!

Cassie's Green Sandals

I absolutely love these sandals!!! John saw these green sandals in the window at Nine West on Broadway and knew right away that they were made for me. Sweetie, you know exactly what I like!!! I love you!

New Shoes!

I LOVE these shoes! They were also a gift from my friend Soo Jin.

Calypso

I was watching the movie "Enchanted" the other day and got really excited when I saw the scene below. Giselle and the little girl, Morgan, go shopping in this store, Calypso, in New York. I realized it was the very same location where I got this turquoise dress. John and I went there last summer so I could get something to wear to his group show at Patrick Painter in L.A. that August. I just happened to have a picture of the dress because I took a picture of myself in the hotel that night just before the opening.


It's kind of a cool feeling recognizing places you've been in New York in movies and TV.

New Skirt

I bought this skirt at Marshall's a few weeks ago with a gift card that Mom and Richard gave me for my birthday. This was taken on Thursday, the first day I wore the skirt.

Zebra bag

Here I am posing with the new zebra bag my mom and Richard gave me for my birthday and trying out the timer on my digital camera for the first time. Behind me is a beautiful painting of a day lily that John painted in 2004.

My new yellow sandals

I bought these Steve Madden sandals at Marshalls last Christmas for $7 and I have just started wearing them since the weather has been so nice. I have worn them to school for the last three days and have really been enjoying them. I love the color and the gold button and the organic shape, and they are actually more comfortable than I expected!
